Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Grid Modernization Sector Lead to drive growth and delivery of advisory services in energy. You will lead strategy, client engagement, and multi‑disciplinary teams across Europe & India, advancing cleaner, secure energy infrastructure.

The role emphasises strong stakeholder management, policy understanding, and collaboration with utilities, developers, and government bodies. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• BEng/BA/BS in Engineering, Environmental Science/Policy, Design or closely related field

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement multi-year growth strategy with KPIs and client plans.
• Identify, develop, and propose new projects; negotiate partnerships; manage senior-level relationships; ensure client satisfaction.
• Lead the development of grid modernisation advisory services in coordination with broader Advisory business.
• Build collaborative solutions for key grid modernization clients across regions and business lines.
• Identify skills and recruitment needs to support growth strategy.
• Establish and maintain relationships with regional utilities, developers, contractors and government departments.
• Support Energy projects with domain expertise; strong writing skills to communicate complex ideas.
