Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Grid Modernization Sector Lead to drive growth in its Energy business across Europe & India, focusing on grid modernization advisory services for utilities, developers and regulators. Qualifications

• BEng/BA/BS in Engineering, Environmental Science/Policy, Design or closely related field.
• Proven ability to collaborate with a strategic interdisciplinary team of business development and delivery professionals.
• Strong understanding of energy policy, planning and project implementation.
• Strong understanding of Transmission & Distribution Networks.
• Significant experience in power, utilities, infrastructure or energy consulting.
• Proven track record in winning & delivering major infrastructure programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement multi-year growth strategy, including metrics, client plans, service offerings, market trend analysis and brand leadership.
• Identify, develop, and propose new projects; negotiate partnerships; structure and close transactions; manage senior relationships; ensure client satisfaction.
• Lead the development of grid modernisation advisory services with the wider Advisory business.
• Build collaborative solutions for grid modernization clients across regions and lines of business.
• Identify skills and support recruitment to enable growth strategy.
• Establish and maintain relationships with regional utilities, developers, and government departments.
• Support Energy projects during execution with domain expertise.
• Demonstrate strong writing and ability to communicate complex processes.
