Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Grid Modernization Sector Lead to grow our Energy practice’s grid modernization portfolio. You will drive growth strategy, client engagement, and cross-disciplinary collaboration across Europe & India to deliver sustainable energy solutions.

You will lead advisory services, develop partnerships, and manage senior relationships with utilities, developers, and government bodies while shaping the future of clean electricity and decarbonisation in a changing energy landscape.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, environmental science/policy, design or related field.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of energy policy, planning and project implementation.
• Knowledge of Transmission & Distribution networks.
• Experience in power, utilities or energy consulting.
• Proven track record in winning and delivering major infrastructure programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a multi-year growth strategy for grid modernization services.
• Identify, develop, and secure new projects; manage senior relationships; ensure client satisfaction.
• Lead the development of grid modernization advisory services across Europe & India region.
• Build collaborative solutions for key grid modernization clients across AECOM business lines.
• Identify required skills and recruit to support growth strategy.
