A leading food manufacturing firm in Gloucestershire is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to drive strategic decision-making and shape future success. This newly created role involves leading the budgeting process, delivering accurate performance analysis, and partnering with various departments to foster commercial growth. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong commercial acumen and proven leadership experience, particularly in food or FMCG environments, alongside robust financial modeling skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) required.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence at board level.
• Experience in financial planning, analysis, and team leadership needed.
• Experience in food, FMCG, and/or manufacturing is preferred.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process and develop multi-year strategic plans.
• Deliver forecasting and performance analysis highlighting variances.
• Produce comprehensive financial reports and presentations.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain for growth.
• Build financial models for market expansion and investments.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4.
