A leading healthcare institution in the UK is seeking a Category Manager for Information Management & Technology to enhance procurement processes. This role involves managing expenditures and developing sourcing strategies to improve service efficiency and value for money. Candidates should have multi-commodity procurement experience and strong negotiation skills, plus a membership in CIPS or similar. The position is full-time and offers a salary of £64,156 to £71,148 per annum.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in corporate contracting and management of commercial affairs.
• Experience in Healthcare services provision in UK Private sector or International sector required.
• Membership of an alternative Management Institute preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide category management and procurement service for four Trusts across South West London.
• Deliver cash-releasing savings annually as part of cost improvement programmes.
