Are you ready to drive strategic growth and innovation in the dairy and beef industry?

We are looking for a results‑oriented Strategic Account Manager – GB and NI to lead account management and deliver holistic solutions for key clients across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement account strategies, including segmentation, resource planning, pricing, negotiation and value creation for strategic accountsli>
  • Lead projects and initiatives to drive profitability and market penetration.
  • Build strong, sustainable relationships with clients, anticipating and exceeding expectations to drive loyalty and profitability.
  • Conduct account visits, lead negotiations and identify client needs to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Analyze account data and market trends to identify opportunities and monitor progress.
  • Work cross‑functionally with product line managers, commercial leads and the TAG team to ensure product alignment and availability.
  • Champion innovation in technology adoption and outcome‑based pricing models.
  • Mobilize diverse teams to deliver solutions for strategic accounts and foster a collaborative one‑team culture across Genus.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Agri‑Business, or related discipline; Business, Marketing or Product Management degree desirable.
  • Proven experience in client segmentation, strategic account planning, product management, financial modelling and pricing strategies.
  • In‑depth knowledge of the dairy industry and strong selling, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally (minimum 50% travel expected).
  • Excellent analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working cross‑functionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and on‑farm software (e.g., DC 305, BoviSync).
  • Results‑oriented, innovative and adaptable to changing market conditions.
