Contract: Full Time - Perm (39hrs)

We are seeking a dedicated Stores Operative to join our team at HMP Huntercombe, a category C male prison.

HMP Huntercombe operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to keep it functioning. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, we are committed to ensuring smooth and safe operations, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.

As a Stores Operative, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment.

We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical services to HMPPS. We are looking for a Stores Operative with any of the following qualifications:

1. Fork Lift Truck Certificate
2. Level 2 qualification in English and Maths

5. Up-to-date First Aid at Work Qualification
6. Good Health & Safety knowledge
7. Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills
