Sainsbury’s Group is seeking a Customer & Trading Manager to help run the store daily alongside a small management team. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations, often acting as the sole manager with full accountability for the shop, ensuring customers are served efficiently and safely.

The role emphasizes people management, coaching a team, meeting KPIs, and stepping in to support other stores when needed.

Qualifications

• Track record of line management in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Ability to coach a team to deliver brilliant customer service.
• Experience leading operations and managing performance and disciplinaries.

Responsibilities

• Work with a small team of managers to run the store daily.
• Take responsibility for day-to-day store operations and be the primary manager when needed.
• Manage performance, capability, disciplinaries, scheduling and pay accuracy.
• Support other stores in network when required.
