Sainsbury's Limited is seeking a Customer & Trading Manager to help run the store day-to-day, leading a small team and ensuring excellent customer service. You will be the on-site manager, handling operations, coaching staff, and maintaining standards to deliver a smooth shopping experience.

The role targets individuals stepping into management through the Manager New to Role programme, with strong emphasis on service delivery and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Consistently delivers great customer service and helps customers and colleagues.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Willingness to learn and complete the 12-week Manager New to Role programme.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth running.
• Occasionally cover shifts as the only manager in charge of the shop.
• Lead a team to serve customers efficiently and safely.
• Manage performance, disciplinary issues, and scheduling with support.
• Support other stores with short-term cover when needed.
