Sainsbury’s Group is seeking a Customer & Trading Manager to lead day-to-day store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and coach a small team to run the shop smoothly every day.

You will drive performance against KPIs, manage employee relations when needed, and collaborate with nearby stores. The role includes a competitive benefits package and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Delivers excellent customer service and coaches others to do the same.
• Tracks KPIs such as sales, availability, and customer satisfaction.
• Experience handling employee relations issues including performance and absence.
• Comfortable leading store operations in absence of senior management.

Responsibilities

• Work with a small team of managers to run the store daily.
• Take responsibility for day-to-day store operations and accountability for the shop.
• Collaborate with teammates to serve customers efficiently and safely.
• Manage performance, capability, and scheduling and pay accuracy.
• Provide support to other stores as needed.
