Job summary

Sainsbury’s Group is seeking a Customer & Trading Manager to oversee daily store operations and lead a small management team. You’ll be responsible for running the shop, ensuring efficient and safe customer service, and coaching colleagues to deliver strong performance across KPIs.

Qualifications

• Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Proven ability to coach a team to deliver brilliant customer service.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs.
• Experience managing disciplinary and performance issues.
• Ability to lead store operations, including when senior managers are absent.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with a small team of managers to ensure the store runs smoothly every day.
• Taking responsibility for day-to-day running of the store and accountability for the full shop.
• Collaborate with team to ensure customers are served efficiently and safely.
• Manage performance, capability, and scheduling/pay accuracy.
• Occasional support to other stores as needed.
