Job summary

One Stop, part of Tesco, is seeking a Shift Leader to drive daily store performance and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will lead a team, own shift responsibilities, and work closely with the Store Manager to meet store targets.

You will be the hands-on leader, coaching staff, managing day-to-day queries, and ensuring safety and presentation standards are maintained throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the team to deliver efficient service and a great shopping experience.
• Open/close the store and manage duty coverage to keep operations smooth.
• Be the go-to person for colleagues when Store Manager is unavailable.
• Support Store Manager with seasonal and community events.
• Ensure the store is clean, tidy and well presented at all times.
• Prioritise replenishment of high-demand products for customers.
• Maintain accurate shelving and pricing, reflecting best practice.
• Resolve customer queries promptly and follow up on any issues.
