One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco, is seeking a Shift Leader to run duty shifts and coordinate a team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will ensure a clean, full store that delivers exceptional customer service and a smooth shopping experience.

You will coach colleagues on the job, monitor store performance, and take hands-on actions to improve operations while maintaining safety and security. The role emphasizes customer-first service and practical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the team to deliver the easiest shopping trip in the community.
• Open/close the store and complete duty cover with safety in mind.
• Be the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Support seasonal, community and charity events to create a great atmosphere.
• Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and well presented.
• Prioritise replenishment of products important to customers.
• Manage queues to deliver a great shopping trip for customers.
• Balance service and replenishment across the store and cover shifts as needed.
• Act as a keyholder for alarm calls and ensure store safety.
