Job summary

Sainsbury's Bradford is seeking an experienced Customer & Trading Manager to lead daily store operations. You will work with a small team of managers to ensure the store runs smoothly and customers are served efficiently and safely.

You’ll take responsibility for day-to-day running, manage performance and disciplinaries, meet KPIs, and, when needed, support other stores. A hands-on leader with excellent frontline service will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Proven line management in fast-paced, customer-facing settings.
• Ability to coach teams to deliver excellent service.
• Experience meeting KPIs across sales, availability, or customer satisfaction.
• Operational leadership, able to run store in absence of senior managers.
• Experience handling employee relations issues such as performance and absence management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations and scheduling.
• Lead and coach the store team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ensure safety, availability, and product standards.
• Manage disciplinary and performance processes when required.
• Support neighbouring stores as needed.
