Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a proactive Customer & Trading Manager to lead store operations and drive excellent customer service. You will work with a tight team of managers to ensure daily tasks run like clockwork, while coaching colleagues to sustain high standards across service, availability and safety.

You will be accountable for performance, scheduling and payroll, and may support other nearby stores as needed. A strong track record in retail operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to coach colleagues and deliver excellent service.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs and managing store operations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a small team of managers to ensure the store runs smoothly every day.
• Take responsibility for day-to-day running of the store and be the on-site manager when needed.
• Lead a team to serve customers efficiently and safely while maintaining high standards.
