Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a hands-on Customer Experience Manager to lead store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will oversee checkout, front-of-house and where applicable petrol station operations, while coaching and developing your team to meet performance standards and KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Experience managing performance, disciplinaries and scheduling.
• Ability to drive KPIs across sales, stock and customer satisfaction.
• Experience handling complex employee relations matters with fairness.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for overall customer experience from checkout to back of house.
• Manage the front-end checkout operation to meet service standards.
• Oversee store operations and, where relevant, petrol station duties.
• Lead people, coach teams, manage performance and scheduling.
• Occasionally assume full store management to provide direction and support.
