A major produce company located in Sittingbourne is seeking a Stock Controller to join their onsite warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating stock discrepancies, managing stock amendments, and ensuring all pallet movements are accurately scanned. Candidates should have experience in the Fresh Produce or Food Industry, and possess excellent analytical and communication skills. Overview

Join Our Dynamic Onsite Warehouse Team at IPL Sittingbourne. We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to become a vital part of our onsite Produce site in Sittingbourne. If you are passionate and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you.

Position Details

Schedule: 4 on 4 off – 7am – 7pm
Location: IPL Sittingbourne – Site Based Role
Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate root causes of stock discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective actions
  • Identify ways of improvement following root cause analysis
  • Record, report and investigate all stock write offs at the site
  • Make necessary stock amendments on the system and be involved in physical stock takes of stock holding at the end of financial quarter
  • Ensure that all pallet movements are correctly scanned onto a system and report/log any movement
  • Investigate any operation issues related to stocks
  • Ensure that an end of day write on/write off report is summarised and submitted to Stocks Team Leader
  • Manage pallet tray count
Qualifications
  • Previous experience of working in the Fresh Produce industry or within the Food Industry
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience working to KPIs
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail with experience of conducting audits
  • Computer literate with intermediate Excel knowledge and Microsoft Office
  • Reliable, flexible and ideally able to work within a multi-functional FMCG environment
