Overview

As a Steward / Waiting Staff with Sodexo at RA Mess Larkhill, Larkhill Garrison, Larkhill, SP4 8QT, you will support military personnel on a Ministry of Defence (MOD) base. You will help provide a positive and efficient dining experience through day-to-day interactions that influence the overall experience for those serving.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Schedule: Monday to Friday | Shifts: 0630-1430 or 1230-2030 | Pay: £12.21 per hour | Perks: Free Car parking

Job Description:

Join Sodexo as a Steward / Waiting Staff at RA Mess Larkhill, Larkhill Garrison, Larkhill, SP4 8QT. You will play an important role in supporting military personnel on a Ministry of Defence (MOD) base. Your day-to-day interactions will directly impact the dining experience for those serving, ensuring a positive and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Dining Area Setup: Prepare dining areas, functions, and meeting spaces before service to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Food Service & Replenishment: Serve meals and replenish food stations as needed, ensuring everything is available and properly maintained throughout service.
• Customer Interaction: Provide professional and courteous service to military personnel across dining, retail, and other areas.
• Cleaning & Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene by regularly sanitizing workstations, equipment, and dining areas in line with health and safety standards.
• Event Support: Assist with special events and functions, ensuring all aspects of service run smoothly and efficiently.
• Teamwork: Work closely with your team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

What You’ll Need

• Professionalism and Respect: A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and respect for others in all interactions.
• No Experience Required: Previous hospitality or food service experience is helpful but not required. A willingness to learn and adapt is key.
