FULL TIME/FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT UNTIL MARCH 2026
Would you like to work in a supportive and welcoming Occupational Therapy team within Perth Royal Infirmary? We are looking for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist who would like to develop their skills within physical rehabilitation services, possess good communication and decision making skills and have a positive approach to multidisciplinary team working and person centred care. The post provides an excellent opportunity for either a graduate or established Band 5 Occupational Therapist wishing to gain experience in the following clinical areas.
In line with the evidence base and the strategic direction of NHS Tayside, the Allied Health Professions will be moving towards 7 day working. This is for improved outcomes and to maximise a person-centred equitable approach to care. Therefore all new contracts for AHP staff will be for a 5 out of 7 day service/rota to enable the service to be ready to move to a safe and effective 7 day service.
Perth and Kinross Occupational Therapy Service provides excellent formal and informal supervision, actively supports individual development through performance development review and learning plans, provides a framework for encouraging CPD and promotes innovative practice.
