Job description

Job Overview:

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated verification engineer to join the growing System IP team. This fast-paced technical role involves employing the latest hardware design verification methodologies to develop complex, highly configurable hardware IP at the core of Arm-based systems.

The role is for the Interconnect product team, which develops Arm Corelink Interconnect IP products. Our Interconnects and NoCs are designed for intelligent connected systems across various applications, including mobile, IoT, networking infrastructure, and automotive. The highly scalable IP is optimized for AMBA-compliant SoC connectivity and can be customized for multiple performance points.

Responsibilities:

You will specify and develop new hardware verification testbenches for future hardware IP generations, improve existing testbenches for better performance and quality, and identify areas for methodological improvements to enhance verification practices.

  • Review and assess proposed design changes from a verification complexity perspective.
  • Own the verification environment from investigation to closure.
  • Investigate and script new verification flows, optimizing existing ones.
  • Analyze simulation data using machine learning and data science techniques to improve bug discovery and coverage.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve verification methodologies.
  • Mentor team members to foster skills development.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with constrained-random verification and ownership of complex verification environments.
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM.
  • Strong software engineering skills, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Ability to develop verification flows, utilize EDA tools effectively, and plan and estimate work.
Nice To Have Skills and Experience:
  • Leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Knowledge of multiprocessing microarchitecture, cache coherence, and bus protocols (e.g., AMBA5 CHI, AMBA4 ACE, AXI).
  • Experience with Formal Verification testbenches.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
  • Focused problem analysis and solving skills.
Benefits:

Contribute to developing technologies impacting millions of devices and enhance your technical leadership and influence skills within a team of experts.
