A leading healthcare provider in London is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Gynaecology ward. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse Level 1 with NMC Registration, possessing experience in Gynaecology/Surgical settings. The position demands flexibility for varied shifts and offers competitive salary plus benefits. This role supports women undergoing surgical or medical procedures, contributing to high standards of care in a dedicated facility.
Location: London: The Portland Hospital for Women & Children
Contract: Permanent, Full time; 37.5 hours per week. Shift times: Monday – Sunday (flexibility required to work long days, nights and weekends).
Salary: competitive (DOE) plus 9% shift allowance
We’re looking for a Staff Nurse to join the Women\'s Surgical Unit at The Portland Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.
As a Staff Nurse in the Gynaecology Inpatient ward you will be working to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care. You will work within a team, supervising and directing junior staff and deputising for Senior Staff Nurse and Sister in their absence.
To be willing to provide care to women undergoing surgical or medical termination of pregnancy, including direct involvement with induction of the procedure.
