Overview

Foster Clark Ward is looking for a staff nurse to join the team on a permanent basis. The role is advertised exclusively to staff currently working within the Kent and Medway ICS.

Responsibilities

As a staff nurse you will assess, plan and implement care for elderly patients experiencing confusion, delirium and dementia. You will deliver the highest standards of care, focusing on falls prevention, dementia care, nutrition, hydration and tissue viability. You will support patients physically, emotionally and psychologically to achieve their goals, optimise independence and ensure safe discharge. You will work alongside doctors, therapists and multidisciplinary team members to maintain patient safety and a positive hospital experience.
