Job summary

Mint People in Manchester is seeking a Stadium Retail Section Manager to lead a designated concourse retail section during matchdays and major events. You will supervise multiple kiosks and bars, drive exceptional customer service and ensure outlets run safely and efficiently.

This role requires strong leadership to motivate teams, sharp organisational skills to manage stock and cash, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends across busy stadium venues in the North West.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing retail, hospitality or food & beverage operations in a busy stadium or event venue.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage large teams.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Experience with stock control, cash handling and regulatory compliance.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and event days.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple kiosks, bars and food outlets within your allocated stadium section.
• Leading, motivating and supporting Team Leaders and Retail Assistants to deliver outstanding service.
• Monitoring customer flow and service standards to ensure queues are managed effectively.
• Overseeing stock levels across your section and coordinating replenishment.
• Supervising till reconciliation and end-of-event cash handling.
• Ensuring cleanliness, licensing compliance and health & safety across your section.
• Acting as main contact for concourse, coordinating with Stadium Retail Managers and teams.
• Completing opening, operational and closing checks for event readiness.

Your Role

As a Stadium Retail Section Manager, you will take ownership of a designated retail section within one of the stadium concourses, ensuring every outlet operates safely, efficiently and delivers an exceptional customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing multiple kiosks, bars and food outlets within your allocated stadium section.
• Leading, motivating and supporting Team Leaders and Retail Assistants to deliver outstanding service throughout the event.
• Monitoring customer flow and service standards, ensuring queues are managed effectively and outlets operate at maximum efficiency.
• Overseeing stock levels across your section, coordinating replenishment and ensuring all outlets remain fully stocked throughout the event.
• Supervising cash handling, till compliance and end-of-event cash reconciliation in line with company procedures.
• Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, licensing compliance and health & safety are maintained across your section.
• Acting as the main point of contact for your allocated concourse, communicating with Stadium Retail Managers and operational teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Completing opening, operational and closing checks, ensuring all outlets are event-ready before gates open and closed down correctly after the event.
