Job description
Overview

As Stadium Liaison Coordinator, you will support the coordination and day-to-day liaison between UK & Ireland 2028 Limited, UEFA, our host stadium partners and stakeholders. This is a coordination-focused role at the heart of tournament planning. You'll support the Stadium Liaison team by keeping activity organised, information flowing and logistics well managed - from meetings and working visits through to documentation, budgets and milestone events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a central point of coordination for stadium-related activity.
  • Organise meetings, working visits and site activity, including travel, accommodation, agendas and follow-up actions.
  • Support the preparation of briefings, presentations and papers.
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers and documentation.
  • Support tournament projects and milestone events as planning progresses.
  • Manage financial administration such as invoices, costs and budget tracking.
  • Provide flexible support as priorities evolve within a live delivery environment.

This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a major international tournament and build experience that is genuinely difficult to replicate. You'll gain exposure to large-scale event planning, work closely with major venues and partners, and develop coordination skills that are highly transferable.

Values & Behaviours

Embrace the Opportunity

  • Seeks out opportunities to improve work practices.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and a can-do attitude.

Achieve Excellence

  • Delivers tasks on time and to a high standard.
  • Acts on feedback to improve work and results.

Thrive Together

  • Collaborates across teams and welcomes diverse input.
  • Communicates clearly and respectfully.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a coordination, administrative or project support role.
  • The ability to manage information accurately and follow up actions reliably.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills focused on supporting understanding.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience supporting financial or administrative processes.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities in a structured way.
  • Experience of working with venues, major events or large-scale programmes is helpful but not essential.
  • Transferable experience from other sectors is welcome.
Working Conditions

Our head office is based at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London, however, depending on your role, you may be required to travel across the UK and Ireland to our 9 stadiums and 8 host cities, with some roles being based in those locations.

Because we are an event delivery organisation, time together in person is essential for effective planning and collaboration.

In 2026, most colleagues work at least three days a week from Wembley.

In 2027, this will increase to 3-4 days a week as operations intensify.

In 2028, during tournament delivery, full-time onsite working will be required.

About the Candidate

We're looking for someone organised, reliable and collaborative - someone who enjoys supporting complex programmes and enabling others to deliver effectively.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary (plus benefits of 25 days holiday, contributory pension, Private Medical Insurance etc), which coupled with the opportunity to be part of one of the biggest sporting events to ever take place across UK & Ireland we think makes for an exciting place to be!
