Overview

Location: St Helens

Salary: £12.25 PH

Hours: Part Time

Care Assistant role focused on helping vulnerable adults within the Borough of St Helens. You must be able to work every other weekend (1 weekend in and 1 weekend off) and be available for a mix of mornings, lunches and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Meet the support requirements of customers in a way that respects their independence
• Travel to customers' homes and assist with daily tasks as agreed between the customer and Caremark
• Provide a range of support (based on individual needs) including personal care, medication assistance, fluid and nutrition support, light domestic tasks, companionship and assisting with accessing the community
• Attend a comprehensive induction and training program to prepare for the role

Qualifications & Requirements

• No prior experience required; full free training provided
• Hold a driver’s license and have access to a reliable car
• Be prepared to undergo an enhanced disclosure check
• Must have the right to work in the UK (the employer is not accepting overseas sponsorship applications)
• Eligible to work in the UK and own a vehicle with a valid UK driving licence

The Role

You would be visiting our clients in their own homes. Depending on each individual’s needs you may provide the following support: personal care, medication, fluid and nutrition, light domestic tasks, companionship and helping with accessing the community.
