Overview

Lunchtime Supervisor Vacancy

  • Salary: Grade C (SCP 3-4; £24,796 - £25,185 pro rata)
  • Start Date: 1 November 2025 (or ASAP)
  • Contract: 7.5 hours per week, term time only. Permanent.
  • Shift pattern: 1.5 hours daily, 11:30am – 1:00pm

The Governors and Headteacher wish to appoint a caring, responsible person to help supervise and engage children in activities during the lunchtime break. St Benet’s Catholic Primary School would like to appoint a suitable person to join our Lunchtime Supervisory team. This is an opportunity to become part of our school community and contribute to the development of children across our school.

Responsibilities
  • Work under the direction of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to provide support and guidance to children in the school setting during lunchtimes.
  • Be able to work with professionals in and outside of the school team.
  • Be part of a welcoming and supportive team of staff, parents and governors.
  • Gain the opportunity to join a school with a culture of whole-school development.
  • Maintain high expectations for self, pupils and others.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Commit to working within a team.
  • Be a positive role model for all pupils and uphold our gospel values.
