Senior Strategic Connectivity Account Manager (London)

About the team: The Lodging Connectivity team at Expedia Group connects our global marketplace to leading Hotel and Vacation Rental connectivity providers—expanding traveler choice and driving competitive selection across our brands.

About the role:

The Senior Connectivity Account Manager will play a key role in progressing our vision to revolutionize travel through the power of technology (via our strategic software partnerships). In this role, you will manage Expedia Group’s largest and most strategic lodging connectivity software providers.

Driving the account development plan to achieve strategic goals centered around API adoption, usage, and optimization. Closely working with supply partners, monitor portfolio performance, and collaborating across teams to ensure these accounts deliver maximum impact for Expedia Group travelers.

What You’ll Do:
  • You will drive the management and growth of a portfolio of strategic accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to those accounts.
  • Build strong C-level relationships with customers’ organizations.
  • Responsible for business performance, including developing and executing a strategic growth plan and potential contract negotiations.
  • Identifying decision makers, influencers/stakeholders across the strategic accounts and developing/nurturing strategic account relationships.
  • Gain commitment to deliver on joint initiatives that result in the achievement of agreed business/revenue targets.
  • Forward planning to resolve potential risks, bottlenecks, or tight deadlines that could impact quality of work/outcomes.
  • Demonstrate understanding of the financial impact of decisions/solutions to drive projects and analyses that support the organization’s mission.
  • Develop potential business solutions and tactics and conduct broad analysis to determine the viability of various alternatives.
  • Draft business case(s) for change and present recommended solution based on analysis to own leaders.
  • Apply deep knowledge of standard contract terms and conditions to help answer strategic account questions. Partnering with legal resources to explain difficult concepts or unique situations that require potential deviation from standard contract terms.
  • Interpret data relative to the performance of products, services, and solutions against your accounts’ needs/expectations.
  • Develop a true win‑win partnership that elevates the profile of Expedia Group.
What You’ll Bring:
  • 8+ years within a tech organization managing high‑profile accounts, ideally within Travel, tech ecosystems or similar.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, comfortable working cross‑functionally with commercial, product, and technical teams.
  • Recognized business acumen with a go‑getter mindset.
  • Strong analytical thinker with experience using data to identify trends, evaluate opportunities, and guide decisions.
  • Results‑oriented and organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and passionate about building scalable business growth.
  • English fluency required; additional languages are a plus.
