Location: Boundary Road, Lytham (Onsite)
Department: IT
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday (7am–7pm on a departmental rota basis)
Reporting to: Director of IT

About the role

We’re looking for a SQL & PowerApps Developer to join our growing IT team at Tangerine Group. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll design and deliver business‑critical applications and reporting tools that streamline data input, improve visibility, and enable teams across the business to work more efficiently.

Working closely with stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Finance and the wider Senior Management Team, you’ll play a key role in transforming Excel‑based and manual processes into robust, scalable, and globally fit‑for‑purpose applications.

What you’ll be doing

As SQL & PowerApps Developer, you’ll be responsible for both maintaining business‑as‑usual systems and driving improvement through automation and smarter data solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining SQL solutions to support reporting and operational needs
  • Owning and managing CRM data on a global scale
  • Designing, building and delivering PowerApps solutions to meet business requirements, including:
    • Manufacturing MI and BI dashboards for performance, efficiency and production optimisation
    • User‑friendly data input interfaces (CRUD functionality)
    • Automated workflows and notification systems
    • PDF outputs and reporting tools
    • Administrative portals to manage SQL tables, users and in‑app permissions
  • Replacing Excel‑based reporting processes with intuitive, scalable applications
  • Producing clear requirements and scoping documents and delivering projects end‑to‑end
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders to understand challenges and propose effective technical solutions
  • Improving data input processes to make them leaner, faster and more user‑friendly

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about automation, data, and delivering solutions that make a real impact.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience designing, developing and delivering applications, ideally for users across multiple countries
  • Expert knowledge of SQL and data structures
  • Strong PowerApps experience, including responsive UI design, layouts and controls
  • Experience with data integration and migration
  • Exposure to APIs and system integrations

Technical experience with the following is highly desirable:

  • Azure services integrated with the Power Platform (Azure AD, SQL, Azure Functions)
  • Data integrations using Excel, SharePoint and SQL Server
  • HTML, JavaScript, ReactJS, JSON and/or XML

You’ll also be keen to learn Tangerine’s existing SQL data structures and internal processes in depth, enabling you to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
