About the role

We’re looking for a dynamic and creative Sports Marketing and Communications Officer to join our award‑winning sports marketing team at the University of Nottingham.

In this role you will develop and deliver engaging marketing and communication campaigns that raise the profile of University of Nottingham Sport and drive income through promotion of our sector‑leading facilities, programmes and services.

Key responsibilities include coordinating multi‑channel campaigns to promote our student and community offer, creating high‑quality copy and content for print, web and social media, liaising with design agencies, photographers and videographers, and supporting priority department events such as the Nottingham Varsity Series.

About you

This is a varied and fast‑paced role, perfect for someone with a passion for sport, a flair for storytelling and a commitment to delivering high‑quality, audience‑focused communications.

We are looking for someone with proven experience in marketing, communications or digital media ideally within the sport or leisure sector and with strong written and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and platforms.

A genuine enthusiasm for sport, physical activity and delivering an excellent student experience is essential.
