A community sports organization in Burnley is seeking a Sports Development Coach to deliver coaching sessions and manage sports development initiatives. This role supports various projects aimed at increasing youth participation in sports. Candidates should hold a Level 2 Coaching Award and have a minimum of 5 GCSEs, along with strong communication and time management skills. This position offers a permanent, part-time contract with flexible working hours.

Working Pattern: 21 hours per week, across a flexible rota (Monday–Saturday, including evenings, with occasional Sunday shifts as required).

Salary: £22,300 - £24,000 per annum (Pro rata)
Sport Development projects provide young people with the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports activities. The projects focus on increasing participation, developing a love for sport and also creating positive learning environments for all involved.
In liaison with the Sports Development Manager and other staff, the Sports Development Coach will support the coordination and delivery of key sports development initiatives such as Bella and Bertie’s Footy Stars, Bertie Bee’s, Football Hubs, Activity Camps/Soccer Schools and Matchday activities.
