As a Sports Coach & Sport Graduate - SEN Support, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and inclusive sports programmes tailored to the unique needs of our students. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualised sports programmes that cater to the specific needs and abilities of students with SEN
• Collaborate with the SEN team to ensure a holistic approach to student development and well‑being
• Provide one‑on‑one support and guidance to students during sports activities, promoting their physical, social, and emotional growth
• Adapt sports equipment and modify activities to ensure accessibility and participation for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and updates to parents, teachers, and the SEN team
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal achievement
• Participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN support and sports coaching

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field
• Proven experience working with students with special educational needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Creativity and adaptability in developing and modifying sports programmes to meet individual student needs
• First Aid and safeguarding certifications (can be obtained upon appointment)
• Passion for sports and a genuine commitment to supporting the growth and development of young people
