Sports Coaches – Secondary School Behaviour & Engagement Roles

Sports Coaches – Secondary Schools (Newcastle)
£89.39–£100 per day | Immediate start

Secondary schools across Newcastle are seeking sports coaches to work in behaviour support and engagement-focused roles during the school day.

These schools value the transferable skills sports coaches bring — leadership, structure, consistency and relationship-building — particularly for students who respond best to practical, active role models.

The role will involve:

  • Supporting students in lessons where engagement is a challenge

  • Reinforcing behaviour expectations and routines

  • Working alongside teachers to keep students focused and on task

  • Supporting PE lessons, interventions or pastoral activities where required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
