Job Title: Sports Coach

Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester

Salary: £103.95 - £110 per day (based on experience)

Job Type: Full-Time / Temporary

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organise, and deliver engaging and high-quality sports coaching sessions to children and young people.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment to encourage participation and build confidence in all students.
  • Provide constructive feedback to players to help them enhance their skills and performance.
  • Promote the physical, social, and emotional development of children through sport.
  • Work collaboratively with schools, parents, and colleagues to ensure the success of sports programs.
  • Track and maintain records of player progress, providing regular updates and reports on their development.
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants at all times.
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in coaching sports, ideally in a school or youth sports environment.
  • Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g. FA Level 1, Level 2, or equivalent).
  • A genuine passion for sports and working with children, with the ability to inspire and engage young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with children, parents, and fellow coaches.
  • Ability to manage and supervise groups of children in a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
