Job summary

Qualifications

Overview

By delivering engaging sports and play activities that promote physical development, teamwork, and confidence, while supporting children’s overall care and wellbeing in line with the EYFS.

Responsibilities
  • Design, deliver, and assess sports and physical education activities for children.
  • Create a safe, fun, and active environment through collaborative teamwork.
  • Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families through open, supportive communication.
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies, including regular training and compliance with enhanced DBS checks.
Qualifications
  • At least Level 2 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification or willingness to complete the Kids Planet Training Academy.
  • Detailed understanding of the physical education requirements set by Ofsted, with knowledge of the EYFS.
  • Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
  • Desirable: sports‑based qualification.
