GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sports Coach to join a vibrant school community in Dronfield, offering a competitive daily rate of £95 - £120 depending on experience. This role provides an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging sports sessions that promote fitness, teamwork, and confidence.

Role Overview:

As a Sports Coach, you will plan, organise, and lead sports activities for pupils of various ages and abilities. You will play a key role in encouraging participation, developing skills, and fostering a love of physical activity both during and beyond the school day.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality coaching sessions tailored to the needs and abilities of pupils.
• Promote teamwork, fair play, and positive behaviour through sport.
• Support school sports programmes and extracurricular clubs.
• Encourage pupils to adopt healthy lifestyles and physical fitness.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and external sports providers.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience coaching children or young people in a school or community setting.
• Strong knowledge of various sports, techniques, and coaching methods.
• Excellent communication and motivational skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire pupils of all abilities and backgrounds.
• Relevant sports coaching qualifications or certifications (e.g., Level 2 Coaching Award) preferred.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and team-oriented approach.
• Have anupdated CV(covering thelast ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBSregistered to theUpdate Service(or be willing to apply for one).
