The successful candidate will lead, support, and motivate care staff to deliver outstanding person-centred care to clients with spinal injuries, ensuring their independence and quality of life.

Main duties of the job

As a Spinal Injury Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading, supporting, and motivating a team of care staff to deliver exceptional person-centred care. This will involve conducting spot checks, supervisions, and competency assessments, as well as assisting with rota management and ensuring adequate staffing for each care package. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate care records, acting as the main point of contact for clients, families, and professionals, and supporting the training and development of the care staff. Additionally, you may be required to provide hands‑on care when necessary to maintain service continuity.
