Are you a Band 5 or Band 6 qualified Part Time Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a meaningful difference? We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Speech and Language Therapist to join a highly regarded specialist secondary provision in Amersham on a part-time basis. This well-established specialist setting in Amersham supports pupils aged 11-19 with moderate learning difficulties and additional needs, including speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and social, emotional and mental health needs. The school delivers a personalised, therapeutic curriculum that prioritises communication, independence and preparation for adulthood. Staff in Amersham work collaboratively to create a structured, supportive and aspirational learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity in Amersham for a Part Time Speech and Language Therapist who is either Band 5 or Band 6 qualified and looking for a flexible, rewarding role.

About the Role – Part Time Speech and Language Therapist
  • Conduct speech, language and communication assessments
  • Design and deliver tailored therapy programmes
  • Support and review EHCP targets and contribute to annual reviews
  • Work closely with SENCOs, teachers and pastoral teams
  • Provide staff training and practical classroom strategies
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate, professional reports
Qualifications
  • Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist (Band 5 or Band 6)
  • Hold HCPC registration
  • Have experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
  • Demonstrate strong communication and collaborative working skills
