  • Job Title: Speech and Language Therapy Assistant
  • Location: Nationwide for school, clinical and online work
  • Salary: Up to £26,000 FTE, dependent on experience (multiple positions available)
  • Hours: 37.5‑hour week – flexible working across 6 days (Monday‑Friday)
  • Contract: Permanent – 50 weeks (5 weeks off in summer break, + 22 days holiday)

About the Role

As a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Assistant at Momenta, you will be responsible for providing interventions under the guidance of a registered Speech and Language Therapist, giving feedback on client progress, attending meetings and advocating for clients and their families alongside the treating therapist. Your role will also involve supporting the indirect actions of the Occupational Therapist such as creating programmes, assisting with scheduling, developing resources and participating in service improvement projects.

You will work as part of our online school integration service, Momenta 360, with the oversight of your delegating therapist to support children and young people with SEMH, SEN and neurodiversity to reach their full potential in learning and home settings.

Essential Criteria
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area
  • GCSEs or equivalent
  • Experience of working with children
  • Effective communication professional skills
Desirable
  • Previous experience of working within healthcare
  • Previous experience working with children with additional needs
  • People management experience
