Job summary

Eaton is recruiting for a Specification Sales Engineer – Power Distribution in the United Kingdom. Based in a hybrid/remote setup, you will influence project specifications by engaging with consulting engineers and end users, from concept through design, and position Eaton as the preferred partner for power distribution and energy resilience.

You will provide technical guidance on LV switchgear, energy management, and EV infrastructure, delivering CPDs and design workshops while collaborating

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, end users, or specification-led projects.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with consulting engineers, building services consultants, contractors, and end users to influence specifications on major projects.
• Drive early engagement on projects from concept through design stages, positioning Eaton as the preferred power distribution partner.
• Provide technical guidance on LV switchgear, switchboards, circuit protection, energy management, power quality, surge protection, and EV infrastructure.
• Deliver CPDs, technical presentations, and design workshops to consultants and engineering teams.
• Champion Eaton specifications throughout the tender process, demonstrating the value of our solutions in safety, reliability, sustainability, digitalisation, and energy resilience.
• Collaborate with sales, application engineering, and product teams to convert specifications into successful project wins.
