Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Specification Sales Engineer for Power Distribution in the United Kingdom. You will influence design decisions early in construction and refurbishment projects by engaging with consulting engineers and end users to ensure Eaton solutions are included before tender.

You will identify opportunities and position Eaton as the preferred technical partner for energy resilience. You will deliver technical guidance on LV/MV switchgear and energy management, run CPDs and design

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or proven experience in power distribution.
• Experience with consultants, contractors or specification-led projects.
• CRM familiarity and ability to manage information in Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with consulting engineers, building services consultants, contractors and end users to influence specifications on major projects.
• Drive early engagement on projects from concept through design stages to position Eaton as the preferred power distribution partner.
• Provide technical guidance on LV and MV power distribution components and energy management solutions.
• Deliver CPDs, technical presentations and design workshops to consultants and engineering teams.
• Champion Eaton specifications through the tender process, highlighting safety, reliability and energy resilience.
• Collaborate with sales, application engineering and product teams to convert specifications into project wins.
