Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Specification Sales Engineer for Power Distribution in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on driving specified demand for low and medium voltage power distribution by influencing design choices early in construction and refurbishment projects.

You will engage with consulting engineers and end users to position Eaton as the preferred technical partner, delivering CPDs and workshops while collaborating with cross-functional teams to win projects.

Qualifications

Electrical engineering qualification or equivalent with power distribution experience.
Experience with consultants, contractors, end users, or specification-led projects.
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).

Responsibilities

Build relationships with consulting engineers, building services consultants, contractors, and end users to influence specifications on major projects.
Drive early engagement on projects from concept through design stages, positioning Eaton as the preferred power distribution partner.
Provide technical guidance on LV switchgear, switchboards, circuit protection, energy management, power quality, surge protection, and EV infrastructure.
Deliver CPDs, technical presentations, and design workshops to consultants and engineering teams.
Champion Eaton specifications throughout the tender process, demonstrating the value of our solutions in safety, reliability, sustainability, digitalisation, and energy resilience.
Collaborate with sales, application engineering, and product teams to convert specifications into successful project wins.
