Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Specification Sales Engineer for Power Distribution in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on influencing design decisions early in construction projects and engaging with consulting engineers and end users to have Eaton specified before tender.

The ideal candidate will provide technical guidance on LV/MV switchgear, energy management, and EV infrastructure while delivering CPDs and design workshops. Hybrid/remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or proven power distribution experience.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, or end users on specifications.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with engineers, consultants, contractors, and end users to influence specifications.
• Drive early engagement on projects from concept to design stages.
• Provide technical guidance on LV/MV switchgear, energy management, and EV infrastructure.
• Deliver CPDs, technical presentations, and workshops to consultants and engineers.
• Champion Eaton specifications through tender process to win projects.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to convert specifications into wins.
