Job summary

Eaton is recruiting a Specification Sales Engineer for Power Distribution in the UK. You will influence design decisions early in construction, engaging consulting engineers and end users to specify Eaton solutions for LV and MV power distribution across commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects.

The role involves delivering technical guidance, CPDs, and workshops, with a hybrid/remote working arrangement and opportunities to drive energy resilience solutions across multiple sectors.

Qualifications

• A degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, end users, or specification-led projects.
• CRM experience; Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with consulting engineers, building services consultants, contractors and end users to influence specifications on major projects.
• Drive early engagement on projects from concept through design stages to position Eaton as the preferred partner.
• Provide technical guidance on LV switchgear, switchboards, circuit protection, energy management, power quality and EV infrastructure.
• Deliver CPDs, technical presentations, and design workshops to consultants and engineering teams.
• Champion Eaton specifications through the tender process, highlighting safety, reliability and energy resilience benefits.
• Collaborate with sales, application engineering and product teams to convert specifications into project wins.
