Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Specification Sales Engineer for Power Distribution in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on driving specified demand during early project stages by engaging with consulting engineers and end users to ensure Eaton solutions are specified into projects before tender.

You will build relationships, provide technical guidance on LV switchgear and energy management, deliver CPDs, and collaborate with sales and product teams to convert specifications into project wins.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, end users on specification-led projects.
• CRM systems experience, Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with consulting engineers, building services consultants, contractors, and end users to influence specifications on major projects.
• Drive early engagement on projects from concept through design stages, positioning Eaton as the preferred power distribution partner.
• Provide technical guidance on LV switchgear, switchboards, circuit protection, energy management, power quality, surge protection, and EV infrastructure.
• Deliver CPDs, technical presentations, and design workshops to consultants and engineering teams.
• Champion Eaton specifications throughout the tender process, demonstrating the value of our solutions in safety, reliability, sustainability, digitalisation, and energy resilience.
• Collaborate with sales, application engineering, and product teams to convert specifications into successful project wins.
