Overview

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to offer a 12 month fixed-term contract for a position commencing in October 2025. This is a whole-time post in ENT/Head & Neck Surgery based at UHS with duties at Southampton General Hospital, Royal South Hants Hospital and also Salisbury and Winchester for emergencies. The successful applicant must be able to work unsupervised.

Duties of the post

• Supervision of patients in collaboration with other colleagues.
• On-call cover of patients in ENT at University Hospital Southampton, Salisbury and Winchester.
• Ward rounds and weekly cover at University Hospital Southampton for NHS patients for emergency and elective.
• Participation in the Registrar of the week duties.

Additional Information

The successful candidate will be employed under the terms and conditions of service for Specialty Doctors – England (2021). Salary will be assessed in line with terms and conditions.

Travelling expenses will not be paid for attending interview.
