A leading healthcare trust in Harlow seeks 3 ENT specialty doctors at registrar level for a 6-month fixed term. Responsibilities include running outpatient clinics, managing emergencies, and supervising junior doctors. Essential qualifications include clinical skills at ST4/5 level and good communication skills. This role offers opportunities for teaching and research within a supportive team environment.
We aim to appoint 3 ENT specialty doctors at registrar level, at fixed term for 6 months, with possibility of substantive extension. The successful candidates will work primarily within the premises of PAH (Harlow, Epping and Bishops Stortford). The fixed term post holders will need to provide assistance with the surgical elective hub at St. Albans together with a Consultant. These tasks may need to be interchangeable depending on clinical needs. All post holders will provide cover for elective clinics, emergency clinics, SDEC and bleep holding. They are expected to review inpatient referrals, teach and supervise junior doctors, run and manage the ENT Emergency clinic and the ENT SDEC supervising and managing equipment, consumables and upkeep or rooms. All post holders will participate in audit and research and are encouraged to initiate relevant projects.
