Job description

Specialist Support Worker – Epilepsy & Complex Needs. This is a full-time role supporting an 18-year-old disabled teenager with epilepsy, severe autism, and movement disorder, located in Finsbury Park.

The main duties of the role include delivering high-quality, safe support to the teenager with complex epilepsy and associated conditions, providing 1:1 support at home and in the community, monitoring and recording seizure activity, administering emergency medication, and responding calmly to incidents.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with epilepsy, autism, or learning disabilities, be able to remain calm in emergencies, and have excellent communication skills. A positive, reliable, and caring attitude, good organisational skills, and attention to detail are also essential.
