A healthcare provider in Tasmania seeks an Infectious Diseases Pharmacist to enhance antimicrobial stewardship and clinical practices. The role involves collaboration with medical staff, leading quality improvement, and providing education. The Team:
Join a dynamic and collaborative Pharmacy and Infectious Diseases team dedicated to delivering high-quality care across inpatient and outpatient settings. As the Infectious Diseases Pharmacist, you will work closely with Infectious Diseases Consultants, Advanced Trainees, medical, pharmacy and nursing staff to provide a contemporary and evidence-based infectious diseases service.
You will play a pivotal role in the governance and daily operations of the Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) program, contributing to safe and effective antimicrobial use across the organisation. Your expertise will support the development and review of clinical guidelines, drive quality improvement initiatives, and enhance education for healthcare professionals and consumers.

Details of appointment:
Permanent part time, day worker position, working 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
This position is a job share, required days will be Monday and Tuesdays.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:$110,425 to $121,907 per annum pro rata. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary Packaging:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
