A regional healthcare provider in England is seeking a Specialist Doctor in Trauma and Orthopaedics with a focus on Hand, Wrist, and Elbow Surgery. The role involves a mix of operating and outpatient clinic activities, requiring a minimum of 6 years’ experience in Orthopaedics. The candidate will be responsible for theatre lists, clinics, and supporting junior doctors. It is essential to possess a Full GMC Registration and be a highly motivated team player. The position is part of the Trauma and Orthopaedic Directorate, working across all University Hospitals Dorset sites. A specialist interest in Hand, Wrist and Elbow Surgery is sought.
The post will be paid on the Specialist Grade, at 10 basic PAs with an out of hours commitment 1:5 weekends.
