Overview

Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 am

Ongoing position

London borough of Newham

97 - 115 per day

Social, emotional & cognitive support for students with various SEMH-related needs

Day to day

Supporting student/students in developing their social, emotional and cognitive skills

Liaising with the class teacher, SENCO & wider community professionals (e.g. Educational Psychologist) to ensure students are on track

Supporting the team in creating a progressive & welcoming learning environment

Working with student/students in various year groups with learning disabilities (Autism, ADHD) as well as Mental Health needs

  • Academic individual - holds a degree in a related field
